Kim Delaney is an American actor who is most well-known as the character the role of Detective Diane Russell in ABCs series NYPD Blue for which she received the Emmy Award. Her credits are All My Children Philly CSI: Miami & Army Wives. Delaney was born the sole child of her homemaker mother and high-ranking executive of the United Auto Workers. Delaney was a child with her four brothers. As a child, Delaney fantasized of becoming a reporter for the court. The first time she began modeling was in highschool and eventually gained commercial opportunities when she relocated into New York. The role she was given was that of an innocent child in the 1981 soap-opera All My Children. Delaney's career has been filled by a myriad of TV films and dramas. The professional life she has had is better than her personal life. She is skilled and gorgeous, has struggled with addiction to alcohol before. She has also had marriages that ended in failure twice. In 2005, she lost custody of her only son.
